The D.E. Story

Dance Emotion opened on February 3, 1997, and fulfilled Archer's (Dance Emotion's founder) dream that he had since the first time he taught a class at Houston Dance Studio in 1986. In 2005 Dance Emotion parterned with Miss Jodi's Learning Garden to create a multi-use facility for arts and education. The new studios are in one of Irvine's oldest buildings. It was built in 1895 as the packaging plant for all the fruits and vegetables in Orange County. This historic landmark now houses two dance studios, a dance apparel store, an early childhood development center, a Kung-Fu school, and meeting space.
